The genesis of the Foundation evolved during the development of the “A spasso nel tempo“(“A Walk in time”) project, an initiative promoted by the municipality of Pompu, in partnership with Masullas, and recipient of funding from the 2021 Culture Fund. The collaboration highlighted the potential for cooperation between different realities of the territory and revealed the path to follow for the creation of a Cultural System of the entire Parte Montis.

A few months later, four mayors of Bassa Marmilla sanctioned the creation of the Parte Montis Foundation.

The initial objective of the Project is thus expanded: from the creation of the Culture System to an online platform ensued, ready to promote the entire historical-cultural heritage of the Parte Montis and to support the mission and values of the Foundation.
